Clark on TV, whether it was Perry's Elvis stories, Clark's bad 
jokes, the sight gags, the Jimmy and Perry double act the 
occasionally comic villains - the best of these being Tempus - or 
the very witty repartee between Lois and Clark themselves. 
<WendYvon> Lines such as these from Tempus Fugitive:

<WendYvon> Lois: "I don't think so. Most of my friends are pro-
gun control."
<WendYvon> or this, from We Have a Lot to Talk About:

<ChiefPam> Lois & Clark was a family show, which means that we 
got more steam than actual sex ... and of course, on the show, 
there could be only one "first time." 
<ChiefPam> But the great thing about fanfic is that we get to 
explore all sorts of possibilities .. including the time Lois and 
Clark first make love.  
<ChiefPam> The nominees this year were quite creative in coming 
up with variations on the theme:  There was the alt-Clark, 
dealing with a virgin Lois ... there was Lois making moves on 
Superman, who neglected to mention one tiny, relevant fact 
<ChiefPam> there was heat cropping up in all sorts of unusual 
situations, whether it be a late-night newsroom, a stuck 
elevator, or a racecar garage!  
<ChiefPam> But they were all a lot of fun for the reader ... and 
all deserving of an award or two.

survey showed the favourite genre of fic among FoLCs to be 
revelation.

<LabRat> How many times can Clark reveal his secret to Lois in 
original and interesting ways? 
<LabRat> Well, this year's nominees have shown me beyond any 
doubt why revelation remains a favourite category and why I think 
it always will be. 
<LabRat> Mix in some original scenarios, some waffy moments, a 
dash of humour and a pinch of hot spice to liven things up ;) and 
we nficcers get the best of all worlds!
